The Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (Dr. RMLIMS), Lucknow is a super specialty hospital and one of the reputed and leading teaching Institutes established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Dr. RMLIMS is situated in Vibhuti Khand in Gomti Nagar locality of Lucknow. Besides super specialty treatment, the institute provides DM, MCh, MD,MS, and Ph.D. Degrees.

  • It would provide holistic medical care including general care in various general, medical / surgical specialities, and in selected super specialities which are not available or grossly inadequate in this region.
  • To create a centre of excellence for providing patient care and educational facilities of high order.
  • To provide training in para medical and allied fields.
  • Patient care, educational training and research facilities will be complementary to SGPGIMS.

Balrampur

Balrampur Hospital founded in 1869 is the oldest, largest and the most reputed govt. hospital of Uttar Pradesh. The year 2016 was extremely challenging for the hospital due to dengue epidemic. In contrast year 2017 was year of up gradation A 10-beded dialysis unit, ramp in new building, state of art fire fighting system were added to hospital infrastructure. Major equipments such as portable digital radiography machine, portable ultrasound machine RUG x-ray unit, modern state of art dental chair, C-arm Audiometry and PFT machines were acquired by the hospital for public benefit. In patient interest readjustment of beds in super specialty wards was done to accommodate more number of patients in AC general ward. Ward 3 playground was refurnished with new toys and swings. Dr. Rajeev Lochan Director lead from the front in giving new image and uplifting the status of the hospital.
